Introduction:

This is a part-time, contractual position with American Bird Conservancy (ABC). American Bird Conservancy is a fast-growing, results-focused wildlife conservation non-profit seeking employees with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to make a difference for birds throughout the Americas. ABC takes on the greatest problems facing birds today, innovating and building on rapid advancements in science to halt extinctions, protect habitats, eliminate threats, and build capacity for bird conservation.

ABC is looking for an experienced, team-oriented webinar specialist to support the organization’s monthly webinar goals.  The successful candidate will help implement one to two hour-long webinars each month. This is a part-time position that we anticipate requiring 15-25 hours per month.

Primary Duties:

• Coordinate logistics with webinar participants, including securing speakers and moderator, and scheduling live webinar and practice session
• Draft promotional copy, including webinar description, email invitation, and organic and paid social posts
• Set up webinar integration, registration form, and confirmation page
• Use ABC’s Zoom account to schedule and configure webinar events
• Coordinate with moderator to develop webinar content and run of show
• Gather, evaluate, and select questions for panelists
• Support live webinar, engaging with audience, answering questions, and providing technical assistance to panelists and attendees
• Gather and share webinar outcomes and feedback

Other duties may include:

1. Updating template-based PowerPoint webinar presentation.
2. Setting up promotional emails, landing pages, and confirmation pages using.
3. Creating graphics for webinar promotion.

Position Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience organizing and producing webinars for 5,000+-person audiences.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience with EveryAction, PowerPoint, YouTube, and Canva or Photoshop
• Experience with Zoom webinar tools
• Supply own work station
• Authorized to work in work in the US; or Permanent Resident
