Job Summary:

Reporting to the Rochester Hub Training Manager, the Rochester Hub Trainer will be responsible for delivering both classroom and hands-on training content to support operations and safety in Li-Cycle’s Hub Facility in Rochester.

Our ideal candidate will be a driven individual with high attention to detail and organization, and a positive “can-do” attitude.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver training content on safety and operations through presentations, infographics, videos, classroom interactions, hands-on training, and e-learning modules.
• Develop training content for classroom and hands-on training as needed.
• Assess workers skills and identify future training needs and recommend training resolutions to close gaps.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with safety training.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Superior skills working with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher.
• High degree of organizational skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• The ability to multi-task and adapt to change in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• A high degree of professionalism and independence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of learning theories and training methodologies
