Technology Support Analyst

About the opportunity

SWCA is seeking a Technology Support Analyst that will be responsible for trend and issue analysis, process development and improvements for our Technology Support Team.

This person will serve as the subject matter expert on planning, implementing, and managing day to day operational, technical, and business partner interactions for existing solutions. In addition, this person will work together with the Technology Support Manager to consult on enhancements to existing processes and development of new solutions.

This is a regular, full time, salaried position that is eligible to work as a hybrid employee, splitting time between an SWCA office and a home office.

What you will accomplish

• Provides consultation and advice to Technology Leads regarding support processes related to their services
• Explains timelines and measures of success for implementing solutions/products
• Coordinates data requirements, production schedules and deliverables with the Technology Support Manager
• Provides resources, training, and services necessary to effectively utilize the products/solutions that the department provides
• Analyzes utilization of products and services to improve performance
• Maintains detailed knowledge of all current systems as well products and services
• Assists in the implementation and on-going maintenance of an asset management process/program
• Evaluates new and alternative platforms as needed
• Assists with hardware asset management service; can occasionally serve as backup for software asset management and technology procurement as needed.
• Supports systems and staff as needed

Experience and qualifications for success

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• 3+ years related systems support experience, 2-3 years of lead experience in a company of similar or larger size required.
• Proven experience in ITIL-based service delivery and leading of process-based teams including service management, asset management, and project portfolio management.  ITIL or COBIT certification preferred.
• Experience using and managing an enterprise ticketing system.
• Experience implementing processes, procedures, and Knowledge Base for continuous process improvement.
• Ability to resolve issues that arise in an efficient and diplomatic manner.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 required.
• Proven experience developing training program required.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
