At Noble, we believe the health of soil, plants, animals and humans is one and indivisible. We believe in rebuilding healthy soils and helping producers maintain a strong bottom line. Through these two actions, we can transform degraded grazing lands across the United States, benefiting the environment and society as a whole.
Our focus is to help farmers and ranchers apply regenerative ranching principles to the nation’s 654 million grazing lands. This monumental undertaking requires thousands of producers across the U.S. to overcome significant barriers and change their current practices to work with nature, not against it.
Our IT team plays a major role in supporting the organizations mission by managing critical IT infrastructure, keeping the organization secure, implementing new technologies, and extending connectivity and services to our ranches and staff. This work is crucial for us to gather the information necessary for farmers and ranchers to triumph over the barriers and ultimately benefit all of society through their efforts. We live to find new ways to communicate usable information so farmers and ranchers can leave their land better at sunset than at sunrise.
So, do you want to join us? We are looking for a Systems Engineer.
As Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring and maintaining storage, computing and endpoint infrastructure environments. This is key in helping Noble achieve its goal and share the story of regenerative land stewardship with farmers, ranchers, potential donors and society at large.
Your primary role will be planning and design of enterprise and endpoint infrastructure environments; develop pre-production testing environments and methodologies; participate in development of system and platform maintenance frameworks; prepare and maintain technical documentation detailing deployment, operation and configuration of enterprise infrastructure environments. The work you do can play a part in making a difference in a producer’s operation, their life and the society that depends on them.
A life-long learner. First and foremost, you must be a passionate learner, personally professionally, everywhere, all the time.

Proficient with enterprise class system administration. You have experience working with wired and wireless networks, enterprise servers, compute, and network attached storage. You hold one of the following certifications: CCNA, VCP, MCSE or storage vendor certification.
A builder of relationships. You promote trusting relationships with open dialogue and an outward mindset. You identify, cultivate and steward all relationships in an effort to support Noble’s objectives.
A teammate. You are an agile and conscientious teammate who works for the success of others.
Provide direct support in the day-to-day operations of network hardware and operating systems, storage systems, computing platforms and consistently evaluate resource usage and performance.
Create test-bed environment for pre-production testing and verification of system changes and oversee transition of new systems and features from testing to production.
Participate in planning, design, technical review and implementation of new networks and systems and will provide input on technical direction based on identified organizational needs.
