Description:
The Strategic Partnership Senior Associate will be responsible and holds a key role in developing, managing, and growing strategic partnerships with organizations that will support Plastic Bank in realizing its volume and impact goals. The ideal candidate must have experience in prospecting identifying, evaluating, and executing partnership opportunities as well as monitoring commitments and building relationships with partners.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the Strategic Partnership Manager in developing and implementing a comprehensive partnership strategy that will align and contribute the Plastic Bank’s overall objectives, goals and growth plans.
- Identify and evaluate prospective partners and build and execute a plan of creating a partnership.
- Build relationships with key-decision makers from prospective and existing partners with the goal of securing or growing a partnership. This includes developing and delivering compelling but realistic partnership proposals.
- Negotiate partnership agreements including key deliverables, commitments, responsibilities and cost/price.
- Work with different departments to ensure partnership agreements are aligned and can realistically be executed and delivered.
- Monitor and update partnership/agreement metrics and deliverables and assist in identifying and creating improvements and strategies to hit targets.
- Keep updated on industry trends and changes as well as do research to maximize opportunities that may arise from these.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, marketing or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in partnership development particularly with NGOs, Foundations and Government entities.
- Analytical skills with the ability to assess and evaluate partnership opportunities and risks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a capability to build strong relationship with partners and Plastic Bank team members.
- Able to work independently and produce results with minimal supervision.
- Willing to do filed/ground work to more deeply understand the organization and the needs of the communities we serve.
