Sr. Deltek-ERP Business Application Analyst

About the opportunity

SWCA is seeking a Senior ERP Business Application Analyst that will be responsible for administering and maintaining our Deltek Vision ERP system and SQL Server systems. In addition, you will participate in management of integrations related to Vision/VantagePoint, our Dayforce HRIS system, payroll and other related financial and database systems.

This person will be the technical lead on introducing new versions and updates and is the primary support point of contact with Deltek. Design, develop and provide enhancements for Deltek Vision/ Vantagepoint operations. Implements updates and changes to the service in accordance with SWCA Change Management Policy.  Supports Marketing, Finance, Operations and Business Development in the creation of reports and data management.

Develops standards for data analysis, assists in the development of reports and provides summaries and feedback to management. Provides data validation and ensures data quality. Gains efficiencies by utilizing all areas and functions of the database. Works with various Corporate teams (Finance, Accounting, HR, Technology) to develop reporting standards and provide summaries and feedback to SWCA leaders.  Works with system owners to ensure data accuracy and quality.  Creates and/or defines workflow processes and customization of dashboards and reporting. Works with Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Marketing and Operations to implement reporting tools including Microsoft PowerBI and SSRS.Documents and develops technical process manuals. Troubleshoots and provides resolution to any issues within Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint. Provides Deltek technical support and training for all staff.Establishes and delivers continuous improvement to the company’s business applications and data.  Contributes technical perspective to strategic business discussions and advocates for best practices.

This is a regular, full time, salaried position that is eligible to work as a remote employee in the United Sates.

What you will accomplish

• Provide ongoing support of Deltek Vision applications and processes.
• Perform Vision administration and maintenance tasks, including testing and CU updates.
• Act as Technical Lead on ERP evaluations, upgrades and implementations.
• Manage user and security roles in compliance with defined procedures
• Create, test, document, monitor and maintain SQL procedures and job
• Participates in database administration tasks, including backup, restore, SQL Agent job scheduling, SQL Maintenance plans, SSIS package
• Assist with the identification of internal user needs for enterprise applications and assist with implementing identified end user needs
• Perform technical troubleshooting and resolution
• Provide functional application support to users
• Apply application patches and perform upgrades as required
• Understand Vision application architecture and the integration with other products
• Evaluate new and alternative platforms as needed
• Support other Enterprise Systems as needed

Experience and qualifications for success

Qualified candidates will demonstrate an appropriate combination of the following additional competencies and skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with ERP or CRM application, preferably Deltek Vision, Vantagepoint, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a SQL Server administrator.
• Detailed understanding of enterprise applications, including Client Resource Management (CRM).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with ERP and CRM systems.
• Experience working with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 application support team
• SSRS experience is a plus.

An employee in this Phoenix based position can expect an annual salary of $83,200.00-$108,160.00/year. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law.  Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
