ELEVATE has also developed the first KPI-based monthly monitoring program to show the links between business performance issues and social non-compliance. When a supplier needs more guidance our Capacity Building experts design holistic and custom improvement plans to create long-term solutions.

ELEVATE is looking for an experienced professional to lead the Latin America Social Compliance Operations, with at least 5 years experience as a social compliance auditor and APSCA certified (at CSCA or RA). The Manager will lead and coordinate a team of auditors and report reviewers based in the Americas to delivery ELEVATE services by meeting all quality expectations. The successful candidate will grow the region, develop the team, and ensure clients expectations are met. Qualifications
MUST be APSCA certified (CSCA or RA)
4-year college degree in a major of Law, HR, Occupational Health and Safety or Environment / an advanced degree is preferred
Minimum five (5) years of experience in social compliance auditing
Managerial experience a plus
Demonstrated leadership skills
Minimum 100 social compliance audit days (verifiable)
SA8000 Auditor Certification, RBA, BSCI Certification or equivalent is a plus
Customer service and results oriented
Effective problem solving and negotiation skills
Excellent English and Spanish verbal and written, communication skills.
Portuguese (desired)
High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet-research /reporting/analysis tools
Maintains a global perspective and is culturally sensitive and aware
Ability to travel 30-40% of the time
Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
Ability to manage with a diplomatic and easy demeanor
Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment with persons of varying socio-economic status
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Interest in international labor standards, human rights, occupational health and safety, and environmental issues
Possess knowledge of International and local labor standards and human rights issues are preferred
