Service Finance Controller

The Service Finance Controller (m/f/d) – will be responsible for projects to increase revenue, profitability and/or cash for Jenbacher Services business, will lead projects to simplify and automate service finance processes, will drive rigor and improve discipline around key service processes and will perform financial validation of business cases / initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead projects assigned by Head of Service Finance and VP Controlling aimed to increase revenue, profitability and/or cash for Jenbacher Services business
• Support cross-functional projects with the aim to improve business performance, eliminate number of manual journal entries, simplify, and automate service finance processes
• Perform financial validation of business cases / initiatives; calculate margin, EBITDA, pay-back period, net present value; challenge business assumptions and data inputs received from business case owners
• Interview key stakeholders, draw process maps with risks and controls; assess wing-to-wing processes and identify weaknesses / gaps
• Support BI re-design to enable transparency, flexibility, sustainability, deeper analysis, and efficient reporting solutions
• Actively participate in monthly service reviews with Services Leader, explain the main tasks/projects completed, key results / benefits achieved and define next steps
• Liaise and collaborate with Operations and other Finance teams to solve complex accounting / service finance issues and implement sustainable working solutions
• Review and validate savings related to business initiatives (Value Creation Programs - VCPs)

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business Administration
• Solid professional financial experience, ideally in a production or after-sales environment
• Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
• Excellent communication skills and assertiveness: experience working across multiple levels and functions; clearly communicate complex financial information
• Strong MS-Office skills: experience with financial systems/applications, strong Excel skills
• A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.790,58 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
