About the opportunity

SWCA Environmental Consultants is looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Human Resources department. This person is a critical part of the success of SWCA’s national Talent Acquisition team and program who interacts on a daily basis with our national recruiters and hiring leaders to ensure recruitment success from requisition set-up through New Hire onboarding. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will need to be flexible in their ability to assist the overall HR group when needed. Someone who is adaptable, a creative problem solver, and able to anticipate their internal and external customers’ needs, will do well in this role.  The position will report to our Phoenix Corporate SWCA location, however the work can be completed remotely from any location in the United States.  This is a full-time, regular (with benefits) hourly position.

What you will accomplish

• Leading and execution of various administrative responsibilities, to include management of the Recruiting inbox, oversight and administration of the background check process, preparation and distribution of internal opportunity communications, and correspondence with internal customers, such as team members and hiring managers, and external customers, such as candidates and vendors
• Supervise, lead, and mentor other members of SWCA's team of Talent Acquisition Specialists
• Coordinate with internal partners such corporate Payroll, Technology (I.T.), Human Resources, etc.
• Managing the job posting board process, ensuring approved jobs are posted to the appropriate career sites
• Administration of hiring effectiveness surveys, including data analysis for the development of monthly, quarterly, and yearly recruiting metric reports
• Assist in the maintenance of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Maintaining the Employee Referral Program
• Review and screen applications, support candidate sourcing, and schedule and conduct interviews as needed.
• Prepare and extend offer letters
• Assist with the recruiting process

Experience and qualifications for success

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
• Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and demonstrate accountability
• History of problem solving and action driven activities
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, up to and including senior management and executive leadership
• Experience configuring, updating, and maintaining complex databases/systems
• Advanced skill in internet searches (candidate sourcing using LinkedIn, Google, etc.) strongly preferred
• Ongoing process mapping and improvement
• Experience screening and interviewing candidates, creating interview guides, etc., strongly preferred
• Successful experience working in client-facing support roles to achieve optimal levels of client satisfaction

An employee in this  position can expect an hourly rate between $25.75 and $33.75. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law.  Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
