Bringing its brand promise to life, Holcim is leading Sailing Ventures to engage all its key stakeholders around its commitment to circularity, including:

• Go Circular: Wind Sailing races around the world from Ocean Race to Vendée Globe, leading global advocacy as well as customer and employee engagement programs;
• Circular Explorer: Taking action to make an impact from recycling and education to science, starting in the Philippines with the potential to multiply impact around the world.

Holcim’s Senior Manager of Sailing Ventures is responsible for leading and developing these programs reporting into Holcim’s Group Head of Branding & Communications.

• Lead Holcim’s Sailing Ventures, from Go Circular to Circular Explorer to amplify Holcim’s brand experience and advocacy for circular living, as a catalyst to build a world that works for people and the planet
• Plan, manage and oversee the execution of the Go Circular to Circular Explorer workstreams in line with Holcim’s Group Head of Branding & Communications
• Build team and strong networks and relationships across the business and influential stakeholders for impact
• Lead and develop the potential of Go Circular and Circular Explorer exploring ways to multiply impact, from marine science and plastic waste recycling to education and awareness, all the way to creating a financially self-sustaining social enterprise model for the Circular Explorer
• Build the Go Circular and Circular Explorer brands

Education/Qualifications

• Degree in journalism, PR, Brand Management, Communications or related field

Experience

• Deep understanding of sailing world and races
• Experience in managing complex projects with local and global implications
• Experience in working with both private and public sectors
• Track record working with a broad range of complex stakeholders from sailing, government officials to international organizations, business executives, academic institutions and NGOs
• Experience in marine ecosystem preservation and/or waste management and circular economy and recycling are a plus
