In this role you will be responsible for:

• Prepare and review of periodical VAT returns, VAT related reports (ECSL, Intrastat SAF-T)
• Meet the submission deadlines and ensure compliant country-specific obligations
• Communicate within and outside the organization to resolve problems
• Prepare VAT related postings (periodical clearing, MJEs)
• Perform VAT GL reconciliations on a monthly/quarterly basis and related open item management
• Support tax audits
• Act as an internal first point of contact in ad-hoc tax related requests from other functions
• Proactively seeks process improvement opportunities

Your profile:

• 3+ years of experience in an in-house indirect taxation role or as a tax professional working on multi-national clients' indirect tax-related matters
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, etc.)
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken), any additional language knowledge is a plus
• Good understanding of ERP system functionality (preferably Oracle), Tax engine solutions (One Source Indirect tax automation - Sabrix,) and interface to Tax Authority interface for invoice reporting
• Experience in working with SSCs or tax advisory firms
• Analytical and logical thinking
• Strong MS excel skills
