Our Senior Coordinator of Alumni Engagement is responsible for developing and implementing opportunities for Youth Guidance Alumni to continue to engage with Youth Guidance supports and services. This will include developing and leading a series of postsecondary success and professional development workshops for Youth Guidance Alumni, coordinating networking and engagement events for Youth Guidance Alumni, and supporting all Alumni Initiatives at Youth Guidance. Senior Coordinator of Alumni Engagement will be responsible for leading three two-week intensive professional development series for Youth Guidance’s alumni who have graduated from high school and need ongoing support to develop and implement a postsecondary plan (Project Prepare Blue).

Our Senior Coordinator of Alumni Engagement has been equipped for this impactful work in education and training with at least:
Bachelor’s degree in a human service field from an accredited college/university and a minimum of three years of relevant social service experience required
Two years of experience providing career development or postsecondary supports to young adults

Skills/Abilities
Must have significant experience in providing job skills training or postsecondary supports to high school students and/or young adults.
Strong interpersonal skills that excels in relationship building with youth and colleagues, cultural sensitivity, and motivating and encouraging others
Project management skills with the ability to organize, manage, interpret, and implement program workflows in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to effectively communicate goals and strategy to a team
Ability to foster and maintain relationships with varying level of internal and external constituents
Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Clear and succinct verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to attend some Saturday events and some evenings.
