We are currently looking for a highly experienced Senior Strategic Planner to join our Statutory, Strategic, and Environmental Planning team based in Melbourne focusing on the project management and delivery of a wide range of Strategic and Statutory Planning projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects as the main contact for the project team from initial phase through to delivery of project deliverables and develop direct client relationships.
• Support the technical lead on complex projects and proposals.
• Provide meaningful solutions for our clients.
• Preparation of reports to Tribunal and Planning Panels.
• Support Ricardo’s project teams to deliver exceptional results.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff and share knowledge with the broader team.
• Preparation of reports, written advice and correspondence in both statutory and strategic planning projects, including structure plans, strategy plans, master plans and development applications.
• Provide input into business development strategies and initiatives to further grow the business

Key competencies and experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience of strategic planning experience within Victoria.
• Tertiary qualification in Planning.
• Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders/audiences and facilitating agreement between conflicting parties.
• Experience managing multiple projects with competing demands.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Victorian planning system and legislation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 programs.
