Plastic Bank is looking for a Global Financial Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team.
Reporting to the Global Controller, the Global Financial Accountant’s main responsibilities include
delivering on the month end close process, enabling timely and accurate reporting of financial
performance. This is a dynamic hands-on role requiring one to demonstrate critical thinking, dealing
with ambiguity and the ability to succeed in fast-paced environments. Specific duties include reviewing
the AP cycles, ensuring integrity of the entire Vendor accounts and related reconciliations, producing
weekly and monthly management reports, and partnering with various internal and external
stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
● Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts
payable records.
● Ensure the accuracy of an organization’s financial records and documents for payment, auditing and
tax purposes.
● Preparation of monthly reconciliations, financial statements, and accounting entries as needed: bank,
payables, prepaids, intercompany, and T&E.
● Keep a close pulse on the AP cycle, ensuring processes are operating with appropriate internal controls.
● Assist in maintaining and reconciling Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss general ledger accounts.
● Produce weekly and monthly management reports and answer any follow-up questions/inquiries from the
leadership of the Corporate Accounting team
● Perform Month end and Year end close processes, gather and monitor financial data.
● Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, policies, and procedures
● All other related duties as assigned
Skills Required
● 3-5 years of accounting experience
● Strong knowledge of full cycle accounting and reconciliations
● Self motivated to continue to develop and grow self and others
● A habit of constantly looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes
● Detail oriented person with strong analytical skills
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with a variety of people at different
levels within the organization
