With a team of about 500 people worldwide, we have reached tens of thousands of farms in 30 countries with clean energy & fertilizer, and we are growing fast.  We are on a mission to reduce 1% of global GHG emissions and transform food systems!

By the end of 2025, our goal is to have installed biodigesters for a million people with our technology where they lack access to clean, renewable, and cost-effective energy.

Who is the Salesforce Product Manager at Sistema.bio?

The Salesforce Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, direction, feedback, and on-going roadmap for Sistema.bio's Salesforce applications. This person will be responsible for managing, designing, and building world-class products and experiences into Salesforce with a variety of teams (sales, marketing, operations, manufacturing, finance) in diverse cultures and geographies (Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and India). You’ll be in charge of:

  • Collaborating with the Executive team to advance Sistema.bio's short-term and long-term business goals by building and managing a relevant roadmap for the Data Infrastructure (DI) team
  • Designing and implementing scalable solutions that leverage Salesforce best practices
  • Managing the entire life cycle of product development from product design, solutions design and implementation within Salesforce and its applications
  • Managing Salesforce projects and ongoing support including communicate timelines, deliverables, risks and level of effort needed to support Sistema.bio's business needs to users and executive team on a consistent and timely basis
  • Developing strong relationships with user groups (external vendors, internal DI team, business stakeholders) to ensure user adoption as per corresponding business processes
  • Coaching and developing the technology teams, distributed globally and remotely by holding them accountable for delivery of quality work and timely completion of development tasks
  • Improving our existing product offerings within our Salesforce Platform by handling the support requests with the technology team

More about YOU

  • You have at least 5+ years of managing Salesforce development projects
  • You have at least 2+ years of managing internal and external resources
  • You have at least 3+ years of Salesforce Architect or relevant experience preferred
  • You have a college degree in Computer Science, or any other relevant field, or a combination of relevant education and experience
  • You have keen understanding of Salesforce technologies that enable sales processes including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and other 3rd party applications that support Salesforce
  • You have experience leading a team of Salesforce developers and administrators in both declarative and complex custom development modules leveraging Apex and Lightning Components
  • You have knowledge of core Salesforce technologies, as well as custom development such as Apex, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and Javascript
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to stakeholders in the organization
  • You are fluent in English and Spanish
  • You can tell a story to Executives and field sales operations to advance technology planning and initiatives
  • You have the ability to understand business process and translate business process into technical solutions efficiently while creating buy-in from technology team as well as business teams
  • You show the ability to contribute to a strong team culture and build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
