We are looking for a curious and talented Sales Development Representative to join our team in North America:
Your main focus will be to generate qualified meetings for Plastic Bank’s Business Development Managers working across both our Social Plastic and Impact Program product lines.. You will be targeting mid-market and SMB companies using emails and cold calls. You will be joining an ambitious team, a fast paced work environment, and work directly with senior level sales execs in order to help us scale up the reach and success of the sales team.
You will:
Research, identify, and qualify leads across our targeted industry verticals
Develop new outbound strategies in order to build a relationships with prospective clients
Build a pipeline of leads using email outreach, phone calls, and social media outreach
Educate prospects on Plastic Bank and its benefits for them
Generate high quality appointments for Plastic Bank’s Business Development Managers
Efficiently manage, process, track, and report on your database of leads in Salesforce.com
Work closely with the sales leadership team in order to support Plastic Bank's revenue goals
We are looking for someone who:
Has at least 2 years of professional experience in a sales environment in a phone-based role, making a high volume of outbound calls
Is excellent at prospecting and hunting for new business, net new logos, and business development
Is fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a confident and professional phone manner
Likes to operate in fast-paced environment and with the ability to take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Is highly motivated, tenacious, and a success seeking self-starter
Experience with Salesforce.com
Drive to continually improve your sales skills through on the job coaching and self-learning
Enthusiasm for sustainability and a strong desire to be at the intersection of social, environmental, and technology sales
