Function**:**
Responsible for managing and coordinating activities for all institutional proposals, assembling & conducting proposals, launch meetings, managing the proposal calendar, coordinating key reviews, contributing to technical, cost and management sections of proposals, editing write-ups, packaging, production, submission, and post-submission follow-up of proposals. She/he will also research and identify funding opportunities and provide daily updates to the Business Development team. The RMM Will ensure the implementation of all necessary internal proposal procedures and processes. She/he will be a member of the proposal response team and for drafting and/or reviewing the coordinating teaming agreements. The RMM will ensure compliance with all submission requirements, as well as coordinate After Action Reviews (AAR), document and share feedback and lessons from funders and partners.
This position will oversee resource mobilization through the growth of a portfolio of partners who provide funding and other means of support, networking with outside funding agencies, corporations, other NGOs, and government entities, and facilitating the fundraising process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Resource Mobilization (60%)
Responsible for leading resource mobilization/ fundraising activities.

Develop/update and lead in the implementation of resource mobilization strategy and plans for Heifer Honduras.

Provide resource development intelligence on donor landscape and upcoming opportunities and bring to the attention of the country program team/HQ for decisions on next steps.

Advise program and program quality teams, finance, working groups on relevant donor requirements/compliance, potential funding opportunities, changes in donor priorities and ensuring quality grant management for all related projects.

Investigate the trend of donor interests and highlight their inclusion/priority in the Heifer Model, aligning them with the ground reality.

Identify program priorities and seek opportunities together with the different resource mobilization teams at Heifer HQ and Country Office Team.

Contribute to the bid development process and ensure its compliance with Heifer’s business development process.

Lead the agreement process (MoU, Teaming Agreement, Grant/contract Agreement, etc.) with partners and donors at the country level.

Develop capacity documents and other materials in collaboration to other team members and communication area.

Build the profile of the organization among donor/client/prospective consortium partners Partnerships Building (30%)
2. Partnerships Building (30%)
Responsible for coordinating networking, cultivating, and nurturing relationships with donors/partners/private sector/government bodies. High Value Fundraising
- Develop and update collaboration and partnership strategies for scaling up program impact and diversify revenue sources.
- Take leadership in expanding and nurturing the currently established networks/relationships.
- Engage the Heifer Honduras leadership and management team for the relationship building with the government, donors, and partners.
- Build strong relationships with fundraising staff in Funding Affiliates and liaise with them on all fundraising-related communications.
- Work closely with all the Funding Affiliates and relevant program departments to ensure high quality and timely submission of proposals and concept notes, Project Report/Project Progress Reports to donors and funding affiliate.
- Follow up on emerging relationships with potential funding agencies and key partners.
- With support from program team and Senior Director identify and facilitate opportunities for relationship building with key donors.
- Ensure the participation of major donors/partners/ government organizations in project sites and public events of Heifer Honduras.
- Showcase project progress and achievements to donors via field trips.
- Take leadership for in-country networking (through participation in forums/working groups/platforms).
- Research and strategize potential partners to enhance business relationships.
- Oversee development and submission of external donor reports.
- Work closely with and support HQ in cultivating relationships for business development.
- Promote linkages to institutional funding sources and the corporate sector.
- Networking, updating, and liaising with key in-country and international donors.
3. Strategic Communication (10%)Responsible for leading the communication efforts and developing the strategies of Heifer Honduras
In Coordination with the Communication Officer and Senior Director Approval.
- Oversee social media management and generation of content.
- Identify media opportunities and develop key messages for promoting Heifer Honduras and its strategic objectives
- Assist with marketing of fundraising and community-related events.
- Regularly update and liaison with the Americas HQ Program team and the appropriate Heifer HQ resource mobilization units on fundraising progress and strategy.
- Coordinate communication between Heifer HQ and the country program for large grant acquisition.
- Ensure good communication with the country team (Programs, MEL, Operations, Finance) about grant requirements and planning of reporting.
- Maintain contacts with funders and stakeholders

Education and/ or Experience:
- University degree in Economics, Business Administration; or Agronomic Engineering, priority for rural, agrarian and/or associative topics or some applicable thematic area.
- Minimun seven (7) years of equivalent experience in international development institutions and resource mobilization, fundraising, grant management, partnership development or project management.
- Master`s Degree preferable
- Minimum four (4) years in jobs related to resource mobilization.
- Proven ability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposals of large values within a complex business environment.
- Work Experience with International Development Institutions.
- Demonstrated experience in working with major donors, including USAID, USDA, European Union, Local Government, World Bank, IABD, as well as UN Agencies and others.
- Knowledge and Experience in sustainable community development.
