This individual will assist with regional outreach and education, including prospect research and communication and stewardship with potential private foundations and high-level individual donors in assigned regions. Other tasks include coordinating special events, conducting campaign solicitations during emergency fundraisers in collaboration with affinity partners, and managing direct mail programs.
The Resource Development Officer will be the primary person monitoring and implementing the existing individual donor database through Network for Good and private foundation outreach and education. This includes generating data reports and organizational management of the fundraising drive on Google Drive in alignment with the organization’s fundraising strategy. As part of the year-end campaign, this individual will draft tax-acknowledgement letters and enter gift data in coordination with the finance department and in compliance with legal requirements as per the International Revenue Services.

The Resource Development Officer must ensure that written material is grammatically and factually correct, and in compliance with donor grant requirements.
