We are building our Sales team, and we are looking for a results-driven, qualified Regional Sales Representative who will play a key role in establishing strong customer relationships and generate interest and demand for the FuelPositive onsite, containerized green ammonia production systems. As we are a growing organization, this position will initially report to the COO, and it may shift in the near future.

What YOU will do:
Reporting to the and working closely with our Agricultural Implementation Advisor, and the Senior Leadership Team, the Regional Sales Manager will champion our Sales initiatives and will be based out of the prairie provinces, in Canada.
Your main priority will be new business development by examining market opportunities and potential customer needs and offering solutions to potential customers, in our case farmers. Your focus will be on selling our Green Ammonia production system to very large row crop farmers. A consultative sales process will integrate renewable energy production, and ammonia storage, with our Green Ammonia production system to provide a fertilizer solution. Your previous experience will enable you to perform various sales-related tasks, including cost-benefit analyses, forecasting and reporting on customer interests, potential new products and services. As an expert in the Sales field, we you will assist with our corporate marketing strategies and expand our portfolio to include new vertical markets. You will also keep an eye and monitor competitors’ sales activities so we can ensure our sales game remains at the top level. You will routinely connect with customers by calling, emailing and video conferencing, but this comes as second nature for you. You will also be responsible for identifying, developing and qualifying prospective customers. The role may also engage with local, regional or National finance companies to support customers in securing credit. In order to succeed in this role, you will have the ability to work independently, take initiative and have flexibility to meet the needs of seasonal demands; while keeping yourself organized and others informed by leveraging Salesforce (CRM). You will have a thorough understanding of common agricultural practices as they pertain to fertilizer and will take part in training programs related to Anhydrous Ammonia in agriculture. Who YOU are:
You’ve seen our values, and they resonate with you. You are an experienced Sales professional with an agricultural background. You have an understanding of farming and agronomic trends associated with agriculture. You feel comfortable being on farms as majority of your travel will be “field visits” to farms. You will draw from your years of sales experience to grow our market, sales and revenue. You have experience selling complex, commercial systems. As part of your education, you have a degree or diploma in agriculture, business, marketing or a related field. You have working knowledge and experience using Salesforce or other CRMs. You are proficient in MS Office. As a Sales Representative you are accustomed to travel within Canada and occasionally to the U.S. and other countries. You are a self-starter, able to problem solve as things come up, and you know when to escalate the issue to find a proper resolution. You know when to reach out for additional support and you are nimble when priorities shift through the organization.
