As Regional Business Development Manager for Jenbacher Engines, you will report directly to the general manager North America and will work in strong alignment with the area sales team and channel partner network. Your focus will be on the individual “go to market” initiatives and constant performance increase of sales and business development topics
In this role you will :
define and run the regional strategy in conjunction with the local team and support in executing with your network and strong marketing and business development skills.
drive new initiatives and support the sales team with completely new business opportunities, aligned with the Jenbacher development team in Europe and in the NAM region.
proactively develop a business plan on how to position in and win in future markets.
prioritize and develop the optimal product offerings and application development for business sustainability by collaborating with global and regional technology community.
develop strategic business plan for NAM for each segment on GtM and solution level for customer main group to meet growth targets
define and execute GtM initiatives to maximize business growth for the respective market vertical in the area – support management and controlling with local sales tracking
initiate and implement regional marketing and sales programs to gain share via new opportunity identification and development, price & portfolio management, prioritization, and development of relationships with customers (at the Engineering, EPC, financing and end user levels).
align with responsible product owners and solutions management including service
identify and realize new growth opportunities by providing innovative ideas through market intelligence activities
consult with regional leadership team to set short term strategic direction and operating plans for the assigned area of responsibility– resulting in delivery of annual accelerated sales and contribution income objectives, management of budget
enhance regional NAM strategy through sharpening the value propositions and customer journeys to deepen customer relationships, cross-sell opportunities and revenue growth.
develop initiatives with value proposition to expand strategic partnerships in the GtM.
constantly challenge the status quo to secure efficiency measures at INNIO.
Your profile :
Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering degree preferred
10-15 years experience in energy industry with expertise in the natural gas, biogas, and renewable business
Sound knowledge and excellent understanding in both internal and external market
Experience in channel management/ distributor management a plus
Working knowledge of Sales force and MS office a plus
Self-motivated and goal oriented with highest standards of compliance
Strong communication skill, flexible and adaptability to different functions to lead team without authority
Availability for intensive travel within entire NAM and travel to European HQ in Austria
