Quality Specialist

Ambri, an energy startup commercializing an innovative battery technology first developed at MIT, is seeking a Quality Specialist.

Responsibilities**:**

• Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and development teams to establish quality standards and metrics, and set the standards in documents and processes

• Proactive review and improvement of systems and processes to ensure the maintenance of standards

• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and communicate with the team if needed

• Coordinate the flow of technical documents, including engineering drawings, specifications, and reports

• Review change orders and quality documentation for completeness and accuracy

• Participate in investigations to resolve quality issues

• Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Quality Department

• Maintain calibration database for all internal instruments and monitor due dates

• Coordinate all calibration with external calibration vendors for instruments that cannot be calibrated internally

• Maintain the ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and

• Support company goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.

Requirements**:**

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• A minimum of 5 years of Quality Control/Assurance experience

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite software, including Teams

• Detail-orientated and highly organized and able to produce accurate and timely results

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, problem-solving abilities, and team spirit

• Must strive for excellence in all aspects of job performance

• Must act in an ethical, professional, and respectful manner at all times
