About the Job:
The Production Coordinator coordinates and executes production operations of New Moms’ social enterprise, Bright Endeavors. This position works closely with the Operations Coordinator to maintain manufacturing operations, and with Training and Production Specialists to ensure daily and weekly production and quality goals are met. The Production Coordinator will champion all New Moms values including our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, in both strategic planning and performance. This position is located at Bright Endeavors in the East Garfield Park neighborhood. Starting Salary: $42,000
Key Job Responsibilities:
With support from assigned Production Assistants, supervise and execute all pouring, finishing, and quality control operations
Monitor and achieve daily and weekly production goals using our Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system and integrated platforms
Ensure all quality standards are met and escalate issues to Operations Coordinator as necessary
Accurately track scrap and damage resulting from production operations
Provide guidance and feedback to Production Assistants as necessary
Provide outstanding support to peers and colleagues
Upholds the New Moms’ Executive Skills Coaching approach, which is grounded in racial equity
Regularly participate in agency and program staff meetings, as well as professional group seminars or conferences to enhance professional knowledge and job skills
Performs other related duties as assigned
