Li-Cycle is hiring a
$3,500.00 Signing Bonus - 1/2 paid at 90 days of employment and second 1/2 paid at 120 days.
The Plant Operator will report to the Production Manager and is responsible for various operating tasks associated with the operation of Li-Cycle’s lithium battery recycling plant. Applicant should be capable of completing a variety of manual tasks and have experience working within manufacturing or processing environments.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
2 years of experience working in similar manufacturing/ processing environment
Experience with routine maintenance operations
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Able to work well under pressure
Strong attention to detail
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
Professional appearance and manners
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
24/7 availability shift rotation may be required
Wear required PPE for full duration of work-shift: nitrile gloves, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, hard hat or bump cap, and coveralls; respirator and face shield as needed
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb.
Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
Overtime as required
Exposure to shop-floor and loading hazards
May be exposed to construction site
