All Hands and Hearts is a disaster relief nonprofit. Our program bases are located in the communities we serve, and depending on the role you apply for you may be required to visit and/or live in our communal program environments. Please note that vaccination is required for all in-person work environments, including program bases and offices. You will also be expected to adhere to particular safety protocols (including relating to COVID-19), and should understand your responsibility for the safety of yourself and others around you. We will always provide an option for travel-exempt staff to join meetings and events virtually, to ensure we provide an inclusive environment for those who are unvaccinated or at high risk.

Position Purpose
A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that provides community-inspired, volunteer-powered disaster relief. This position is a full-time position that, for the duration of the Hurricane Ian program, will be responsible for the identification and relationship management of partners who are critical to the relief work. The role will act as the conduit between the Hurricane Ian program and external partners; with the objective to raise awareness, develop relationships and identify funding or resources that will support All Hands and Heart’s ongoing operations in Florida.
Reporting Relationships
Essential Functions
Support the program team in identifying needs and developing partnerships across non-profit, public, and private stakeholders that increase the value of our presence in the community throughout the duration of the program
Work alongside the Hurricane Ian team to identify the resources and relationships that will benefit the program
Raise funds in support of the program in amounts to be agreed upon with operations and development teams
Research/develop contacts and ideas that build the capacity of All Hands and Hearts, and in particular those for funding, partnerships, and Gift In Kind donations for the Hurricane Ian program
Develop a network of specialist partners to support needs within the local community
Maintain awareness and report as needed peer organization activity, funding structures, and local community leadership within the disaster landscape. Attend and ensure organizational participation in any long term recovery or other coordination groups
Monitor the accurate internal tracking of all partner contacts in Salesforce and Google Drive.
Support the program team in organizing, coordinating, and conducting site visits of donors, potential donors, and partners
Where needed, support the Marketing and program teams in coordinating on-program media outreach and public relations opportunities
Creating/updating presentations for the development teams and donors with up to date information from program
Bring a positive perspective to inspire connectivity and innovation both on- and off-program
We understand vaccination is the best way to protect our beneficiaries, community members, staff and volunteers. Therefore, we require all staff members working in in-person environments (including program staff, office staff, team meetings and program visits) to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Subject to applicable guidance, the term fully vaccinated currently refers to when an individual has received either a single-shot vaccine or both doses of a two-shot vaccine and two weeks have elapsed since the final dose.
