P/T contract - Marketing and Communications Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced marketing and communications assistant to join our team, help us to engage existing supporters and extend our reach. The successful candidate will have a key role in supporting our marketing team and stakeholders.
About FFC:
We exist to remove CO2 from the atmosphere, restore biodiversity and fight climate change. Our mission is to remove 1 million tonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere by 2030. We do this by creating and restoring carbon rich habitats, planting native broadleaf forests, restoring peatland and developing biodiversity projects. We are an impact for profit organisation, helping businesses achieve their sustainability goals: whether that’s by working together on one of our biodiversity projects, supporting our UK reforestation projects or purchasing high-grade carbon credits generated on our sites.. Our partners can visit us on-site and experience the positive impact of our business first hand.

About the role:
Reporting to the Brand & Marketing Manager, this Marketing and Communications Assistant role is pivotal in developing relationships with partners through marketing, communicating clearly and engaging our existing client base. This position involves coordinating and delivering engaging campaigns which grab our audience’s attention and inspire action!
The Marketing & Communications Assistant works closely with a number of stakeholders and the Brand & Marketing Manager to ensure our marketing and communication activities are developed and implemented in line with the agreed plan. The role will also involve monitoring and evaluating the results of communications, identifying where insight and learning offers improvement.
Role requirements: We are looking for someone who is mission driven and can show a true passion for what we do. You’ll have an understanding of a broad range of communication approaches as well as the ability to be self-motivated and creative. Your stakeholder management skills will be excellent as well as your organisational skills to get the most out of our internal and external partnerships.

We’re a fully remote team on flexible hours (but generally available between 10am-4pm GMT) to accommodate busy family lives. Attendance at face-to-face strategy and All Hands and social days in Scotland will be required periodically.
