GVI Planet is hiring an
Global Outreach Manager
Option to work remotely or from our office in Tokai, Cape Town
About the role
Are you looking for a remote internship to accelerate your career in the for-good sector? GVI is looking for an intern to join the marketing team. If you are organized, pride yourself on your attention to detail, love to “get stuff done”, and are looking for a role within marketing in an environment that invites you to be a part of something bigger then look no further.
To thrive in the Outreach Team, you need to be a team player who enjoys a fun but fast-paced environment. Our work ranges from communication with GVI alumni to virtual/physical events, to researching innovative ways to increase GVI’s brand awareness. The Outreach Intern will join the team to help out with important admin-related tasks and to help support the Outreach Team (and the greater Marketing Team).
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Global Outreach Manager and gain valuable experience using tools like SalesForce, Survey Monkey, Trello, MailChimp, Flickr, as well as online careers portals. Many of the tasks involved with this role will be admin-related. However, you will also have the opportunity to research and book events at schools and universities, create content for newsletters and Facebook groups, get involved in brainstorms, social listening activities, basic media and PR requests, and more.
