We are offering a hybrid work arrangement for this position, and actively seeking applicants from either Johannesburg or Cape Town, South Africa.
The Job
As an NBD Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring funding for current and future projects by developing existing and new funding opportunities. Your contribution will enable Tiko to reach its ambitious goals for growth.

Your keen eye for detail, combined with exceptional organizational skills guarantee that no task or opportunity goes unnoticed or unaddressed.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor's degree required
A minimum of 4 years of experience with fundraising, business development, proposal management, and relationship management within the context of non-profit organisations.
Experience in international development or global health.
You have a proven track record in successfully securing a minimum of $ 1 million per year from a diversity of major donors, corporations (especially tech-related ones), individual philanthropists and foundations. In securing this funding, you can prove you were responsible for initiating the leads as well as the strategic development of opportunities.
A proven personal network with SRH donors, both private and government as well as a proven track record in revenue-generation from a wide variety of sources including investors/ investment funds, corporations, and foundations.
Demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
Willingness to travel internationally.
You are currently based in South Africa.
The Rewards
At Tiko we believe in being open, also when it comes to salaries. The monthly salary bracket for this position is R59,224 - R88,837 gross in South Africa. We will offer you a salary in this bracket depending on your level of experience and how it relates to your future colleagues.
