The Role: Mechanical Development Technician

Who are you?

Svante is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing products, issuing test reports, and performing mechanical tasks. Familiarity with CAD software such as PTC Creo or SolidWorks is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test products to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.
• Issue detailed test reports outlining any issues or concerns.
• Perform mechanical tasks such as assembly, disassembly, and maintenance.
• Utilize CAD software to create and modify technical drawings and designs.
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues.
• Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition and perform regular maintenance.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical testing and maintenance.
• Experience with CAD software such as PTC Creo or SolidWorks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work on-site and be available for full-time or part-time hours.
