The Role: Mechanical Development Engineer - CAD/Creo

Who are you?

Svante is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong CAD skills to join our team at Svante Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience using Creo software, as well as a background in mechanical design and engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using Creo software.
• Create detailed CAD models and drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Work closely with other engineers and designers to ensure designs meet specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet production, cost and schedule requirements.
• Understand and apply engineering principles and concepts to solve complex problems.
• Provide technical support to other departments, as needed.
• Continuously improve design processes and workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
• Strong CAD skills, specifically with Creo software.
• Experience with design of welded assemblies, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
