Position Overview:
InnovateEDU is seeking a Full Time Junior Finance and Operations Associate to support the finance and operations functions within our mid-sized nonprofit organization. The Junior Finance and Operations Associate will work closely with the Chief of Staff and report to the Senior Finance and Operations Associate to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and requirements set by funders, partners, and government agencies. This person will also work closely with the InnovateEDU leadership to support administrative systems and routines of the organization with a particular focus on InnovateEDU’s financial operations.
Responsibilities
Operation Support: Assist in the day-to-day operations of office management. This includes updating and maintaining our supply and inventory management, asset tracking systems, and other administrative functions associated with the office, as well as supporting the process of receiving and tracking inventory sent to the office and upholding policies related to the financial and operations manual.
Budgeting: Support the Senior Finance and Operations Associate by contributing to the annual budgeting process for the organization as a whole and support development of grant budgets as needed.
Contract and Grant Reporting: Assist with grants management organization-wide by supporting in the maintenance of budget vs actuals reports, and assisting in quarterly and final grant reports under the supervision of the Senior Finance and Operations Associate

Compensation:
Consistent with our diversity, equity, and inclusion statement we strive to address systemic gaps in pay often present in our larger society as a result of gender, identity, or sexual orientation. All candidates are pay scaled by an independent third-party service or application which calculates the market rate for the applicant based on skills and qualifications, job duties, market conditions within the location of applicant, education, and experience. This position’s compensation range is $23-$26 hourly. InnovateEDU full-time employees receive paid vacation and sick leave, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement, and other standard benefits.
