Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform financial due diligence and analysis on prospective projects
- Support investment team across all facets of deal activity and process life cycles
- Evaluating prospective projects based on the fund’s investment policy and mandate
- Creating and maintaining financial models for investment evaluation of projects and financial planning.
- Financial analysis of potential financing structures
- Preparation of financial & project documents for presentation to potential and current investors on specific investments, information memoranda and prospectus
- Developing and negotiating investment agreements and equity documents including joint development agreements; shareholders agreements; equity instruments (ordinary shares; preference shares; shareholder loans; mezzanine instruments). Ability to draft MOUs, joint development agreements and to prepare investment term sheets.
- Experience in carrying out investment due diligence
- Preparation of investment proposals for the investment committee
- Liaising with fund managers, company managers, external legal, financial, tax and technical advisors to execute and/or monitor an investment
- Conducting market research on the industry and gather market intelligence to enhance management of funds and investment opportunity analysis
- Participating in financial briefing provided by the investment managers internally and externally.
- Manage processes associated with compliance, governance and internal approvals to ensuring that all investment compliance regulations are met.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as may be assigned
Qualifications
- Must possess a Bachelors Degree in business or commerce, finance
- Post Graduate degree preferred
Technical Skills

- Experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking or M&A advisory
- Project Finance skills
- Infrastructure experience
- Excellent knowledge of financial markets and instruments
- Good working knowledge of key commercial statutes and regulations
- 5 years’ experience in relevant field
