The Role: Internal Auditor
AAI has invested in Internal Audit as a review mechanism for the federation to provide its Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Board with assurance over the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance. The Internal Auditor will assist the Internal Audit Manager in providing the required assurance and will work closely with the Forensic Auditor and may take on some assignments jointly with them.
Who we're looking for:
The successful candidate should be in possession of an Internal Audit, Accounting or related business qualification. Membership to a professional body and a relevant certification with a recognised professional body (e.g CIA, CISA, ACCA, CFE, etc) is advantageous. The successful candidate should have at least 5 years Internal Audit experience. The candidate should be able to work in a multicultural context/environment, engage in social justice activism/advocacy and demonstrate innovative practices. Knowledge of the IIA’s International Professional Practices Framework
