Intern - Finance Department

SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka, a member organization of SOS-Kinderdorf International, provides total care to the children who have lost their parents and supports the children who are at risk of losing the care of their biological family. The organization has well established Projects in Piliyandala, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, Anuradhapura, Monaragala, Batticaloa, Gandara, Peraliya & Jaffna and Mallavi.

Applications are invited from highly committed individuals who meet the requisite qualifications for the following position.

FINANCE INTERN – 2 POSITIONS (DURATION: 6 MONTHS LOCATION: PILIYANDALA)

The ideal candidate needs to be enthusiastic and energetic and will be expected to support all functions in the Finance department of SOS Childrens Villages Sri Lanka.

REQUIREMENTS

• GCE A/L with Accountancy as a subject  or
• Diploma in Accountancy, Business Administration, Business Management or Part Qualification from a professional accountancy body or equivalent
• Proficient in MS Office Packages including MS Word, Excel and Power point.
• Ability to follow instructions and good communication skills.
• Ability to work towards a deadline.

An internship allowance of Rs. 15,000/- per month will be paid to the selected candidate.
