ABOUT THE ROLE
Our HR Business Partners collaborate strategically with teams across 3Degrees and we are growing our European community! This is a full-time staff position based in London or Oslo and reports directly to the Vice President, People Operations. In this role you will enjoy a flexible, hybrid working arrangement.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Whether you are coaching your stakeholders on navigating employee relations, identifying learning and development opportunities or succession planning, you are consistently focused on putting your teams first. We are a small yet fierce People Operations team and we provide back-up support to one another whenever necessary. No two days are the same, and in this exciting, interesting and wide-ranging opportunity, you will achieve the following:
- A deep understanding of the strategic goals and business needs of the teams you support
- Interpreting, implementing and administering HR policies, practices and procedures for employees
- Provide professional guidance and support to your teams on learning and development opportunities and coaching; ensuring employees have the resources they need to perform their jobs, paving the pathway to grow their careers with 3Degrees
- Acting as a consultant on human resources management and organizational changes
- Providing input on workforce and succession planning as well as plans for business unit restructuring
- Effectively collaborating with your People Operations partners, using your insight to develop policies and programs to build morale, workplace experiences, employee engagement, productivity and retention
- Solving HR-related issues, upholding confidentiality and the company’s commitment to a safe, inclusive and trusting work environment
- An ability to identify the root cause of any issue impacting your teams, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement solutions, escalating issues as appropriate
- Conducting regular check-ins with European managers and staff to keep a pulse on the organization and any pending concerns
- Other support when necessary, this can include (but is not limited to) benefits administration, payroll and recruitment
ABOUT YOU
You are highly proactive, with an innate and attentive ability to create integrated solutions by balancing employee needs with key business objectives. You have had the opportunity already and enjoy working with remote / international teams. You are someone that is innovative in maintaining a strong company ethos across multiple locations, understanding the needs of varying cultures and working methods. Ultimately, you are goal-oriented, with a demonstrable and proven ability to act with integrity, honesty and fairness at all times.
You bring experience in the following areas:
- UK and European employment law and legislation
- HR Metrics and data analysis
- Performance management, coaching, development, recognition programs and succession planning
- Organizational design, improving efficiency and effectiveness in line with clear objectives
- Navigating a variety of employee relations issues at all levels of an organization
- Employee engagement, conflict resolution and employee relations
- Proven background in a values based culture that has diversity, equity and inclusion at the forefront of all decisions
HOW WE DEFINE SUCCESS
Within 60 days
- You will acquire a comprehensive understanding of the business line, team members and goals of the organizations you support
Within 90 days
- You will become an expert in all 3Degrees policies, benefits, procedures and strategic initiatives with the ability to execute and make recommendations to improve the employee experience
Within one year
- Each business unit has the right people in the right roles with employee engagement increased as a result of career pathing and training
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Compensation: The minimum and maximum salary for this position is $80,100 to $121,000 in the US. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, role requirements, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise. This is a Europe-based remote role and currency will be converted to the local currency based on USD equivalent. Conversion rates are reviewed biannually, at a minimum.

- Supplemental Pay: this position is eligible for discretionary bonus programs including the company’s profit sharing program and an annual performance bonus based on personal, department and company goals.
