HR Coordinator

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the HR Coordinator role will undertake a variety of HR duties, including onboarding, maintain HR systems, reporting and general HR administration.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Completing and coordinating the administration, tracking, and auditing of documentation and information involved in the full employee life cycle
• Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
• Maintaining data integrity in various HR systems.
• Liaising with other departments or functions (Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, etc.)
• Advising internal clients on interpretation and administration of HR policies and programs.
• Assisting with facilitating new hire orientations, as needed.
• Participating in a variety of projects as part of the regional and/or corporate HR teams.

Job Qualifications:

• Post-secondary degree, preferably in Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in a junior Human Resources position, or a new grad who has a strong interest in pursuing a career in HR.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Familiarity using HR software and tools
