HR Business Partner , London, Brussels or Berlin

HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER (HRBP), LONDON, BRUSSELS OR BERLIN.

This role will provide support to the development and delivery of the HR agenda both operationally and strategically. Working alongside Associate and Country Directors within the petals (departments) to resourcing and develop teams and managers. Provide a HR services to staff and organisational project work.

This role reports to the Head of HR and due to growth over the last 2 years we are expanding the HR team from 2 to 4 people. E3G has 136 staff across the entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Associate Directors and Country Directors to coach, attract, develop, expand capability, and support staff through the lifecycle, ensuring consistent across the organisation and improvement of the staff experience;
• Advise best practice to line managers on recruitment, talent management, reward, progression and retaining staff. Building people capability as the organisation grows to ensure staff are managed and developed to meet E3G mission objectives;
• Project and organisational area of responsibility – 1) Improve and manage reward, promotion and performance process 2) Set up and review handbooks, policies and guidelines that ensure that managers and staff have clarity around process across all our locations;
• Review HR data to produce reports that monitor key data in order to help manage and improve staff motivation and engagement. Data on BambooHR (HR system) Metrics to also help predict future staff needs;
• Be a point of contact for HR Queries for staff;
• International travel may be required from time to time.

Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

Essential Experience

• Be flexible, creative and collaborative, with sound judgement;

• Deliver outcomes;

• Work with a coaching style;

• HR qualification equivalent to BA or CIPD Level 5;

• Proven work experience as a HRBP or similar role (non for profit an advantage);

• Hands-on experience with IT programmes and HR systems;

• Experience in managing a reward programme operationally and strategically;

• Ability to design clear and fair company policies;

• Relationship management, including at managerial and stakeholder levels;

• Verbal and written communication, including active listening, for determining organisational goals and suggesting ways to achieve them through human resource initiatives;

• Excellent verbal and written English is required;

• Comprehensive understanding of employment law in the country you are located and the ability to learn about employment law in other locations.

Desirable Experience

• International HR Experience

Based in London, Brussels or Berlin with hybrid working. 25 days leave plus additional leave between Christmas and new year. Pension contribution plan and various benefits based on location.
