Purpose:

As HR Business Partner, you will provide professional end-to-end HR expertise and advice to a growing team (currently 35) in a new Acquisition in Athens, Greece and will provide HR support to our entities in other parts of Europe e.g. Spain, Germany. The position will be based in Athens.

You will be part of our global HR team, reporting into the HR Manager and will be aligned to our Digital Modelling Practice. You will work closely with the business to support integration and the organisation’s vision and growth strategy.

Key Accountabilities:

You will develop deep and effective working relationships to ensure business objectives are supported by HR policies and practices. You will be outward facing in the business, often interacting with colleagues to build business knowledge, and regularly meeting with Managers and Team Leaders to deliver your HR added value. You will confidently challenge and critically evaluate options and be proactive in putting forward ideas.

You will work closely with the other HR Business Partners and the wider HR team to ensure that the service is consistent across the business and to share learnings and best practice. We are a supportive and welcoming team that is continually developing and hence you will be comfortable with change, managing your priorities and a varying set of tasks.

Your role will cover a wide range of activities, including:

  • End to end responsibility across the entire HR lifecycle – recruitment, selection, onboarding, probations, learning and development, contract changes, employee relations and offboarding, connecting with the wider HR team for support
  • HR integration support for business acquisition
  • Prepare and maintain people documentation and records
  • Proactive HR support to Team Leaders and Managers
  • Inductions and probations supporting new starter integration
  • Performance management, absence management, disciplinary and grievances
  • Managing parental/flexible working/home working requests
  • Support with promotion cases and salary reviews
  • Data management and analysis, as required
  • Deliver training and present at local business meetings
  • Support with global mobility and Visa matters
  • Develop and implement country specific HR policies and procedures, providing advice and guidance to colleagues
  • Liaise with other HR regional teams
  • Provide input into HR strategic goals and operational plans
  • Leadership of/involvement in HR projects as required

Key Competencies and Experience

  • Excellent knowledge of Greek labour market legislation
  • A generalist HR background with experience of the end-to-end HR role
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification
  • HR qualified
  • Languages: English and Greek (fluent) are essential

Desirable Experience:

  • Understanding of a consultancy environment
  • HR experience in other countries
  • Knowledge of labour market legislation in other parts of Europe, in particular Spain, Germany and Italy
  • Languages: Spanish, German or other European languages would be beneficial

  • Advanced Microsoft office skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively
  • Adaptable and accepting of the need to work flexibly in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Willingness to travel to other countries as needed
