Position Summary
The Graphic Design Intern will work closely with MEDA’s Marketing and Communication team to support our colleagues across the organization and in the field, and as outreach ambassadors for MEDA in the community. The intern will assist with organizing design assets, creating digital content for social media, creating infographics, and updating graphics for the website and promotional documents. The student will also have the opportunity to assist with the design of marketing materials including digital brochures, document layout, advertisements and internal videos. The responsibilities will include upholding MEDA’s brand standards, organizing and editing photographs, and promoting MEDA’s work through graphic design in a professional and engaging way.
Job Status: Contract Spring/ Summer 2023: Estimated duration of 16 weeks (dependent on funding*)

Location: Waterloo, ON / Hybrid/ Remote-work**
*This opportunity is contingent upon approval by the 2023 Canada Summer Jobs Program which is an initiative of the Government of Canada’s Summer Work Experience Program. It is designed to focus on local priorities, while helping young Canadians and their communities.
