About this role
The Grants & Contracts Associate plays an important role with the finance and development teams of our growing, global organization. The Associate collaborates across the Organization to ensure smooth and timely grant processing, grant reporting, accurate spending against grants budgets, and compliance with funder requirements and applicable laws. The Grants & Contracts Associate reports through the Grants and Contract Manager, and also supports the Director of Finance - Global. This position works across Access Now’s Development and Finance arms.
What you will do
The Grants & Contracts Associate assists with the day-to-day coordination of the Organization's financial management of its grants, donations, and fundraising efforts in a dynamic, collaborative, and mission-based environment.

Location
This is a full-time position, with preference for placement aligned to either our New York City (Manhattan) or Washington, DC presences. We will consider applications from applicants aligned to our teams in Berlin, Brussels, San José (CR), Toronto, or Tunis. At this time most Access Now Team Members are working through hybrid office arrangements, combining remote at-home work with intermittent use of offices and/or co-working spaces. Applications will be accepted from other remote locations, on a case-by-case basis. Candidates must have the legal right-to-work in the location in which they will be based. We are unable to sponsor visas or relocations for this role.
Remuneration
Access Now offers competitive compensation and benefits packages that align competitively with locations and regions around the world. Location-specific examples of initial placement within the salary range for this role include:
€3,940 EUR gross monthly (Belgium)
$4,557 USD gross monthly (United States)
