This role reports to the Director of Finance and may be based anywhere within the USA.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The 3 Degrees finance team provides management with critical financial insights to make data-based decisions to accomplish key business objectives. As a member of the team you will develop and refine financial models for various product lines, as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. You will collaborate with division leaders on our semi-annual planning cycle as well as provide support on monthly and quarterly financial (variance) analysis and ad-hoc reporting. The financial analyst should bring expertise within this arena, and perform the following work:  responsible for analyzing organizational needs, creating alignment with business strategy, and stakeholder management. Key responsibilities include the following:

• Support the semi-annual financial planning process
• Partner with department heads to help translate their company goals into plan assumptions
• Work with Accounting to understand variances to plan and update plan as it relates to accounting treatments
• Assist department heads with report generation and interpretation within Adaptive
• Work with director to implement updates to model and underlying model tools within and outside of Adaptive with an eye for functionality and internal consistency
• Collaborate with Accounting on KPI reporting and KPI generation

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 3+ years of experience with reporting and forecasting in an FP&A environment
• Familiarity with GAAP accounting
• Detail and process oriented
• Strong organization and analytical skills
• Ability to distill complex concepts and an eye for building simple models/tools which capture necessary complexity
• Experience with Adaptive Planning is a plus
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formatting, pivots, large data sets, and nested if-statements)

• Engage and successfully collaborate with the Director to gain knowledge of Month End Close Process
• Develop working knowledge of company software

Within 180 days

• Independently work towards achieving financial analyst yearly goals

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS**

• Compensation: The starting base pay for this position is $70,000 to $108,000 in the US. The total compensation package for the successful candidate in this role will exceed the base pay as it includes other incentive pay. The base pay is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

• Supplemental Pay: this position is eligible for discretionary bonus programs including the company’s profit sharing program and an annual performance bonus based on personal, department and company goals.
