About Resource Development
Accion’s Resource Development department has a solid track record of creative partnerships, strategic fundraising, and proven results. We work across a broad base of corporate and private foundation partners including Mastercard, Credit Suisse, FMO, Bill and Melinda Gates, MetLife, and Citi Foundations. In addition, we work with individual impact investors, philanthropic donors, and the public sector to carry out our important and increasingly urgent mission. Building on the existing strong base of supporters and partners, we aim to amplify our strategic partnership priorities.
Position Responsibilities
The Resource Development (RD) team is seeking a Graduate Intern for the fall with skills in social media and communications in order to amplify our visibility with the private sector and key partners. The Intern will work closely with the Resource Development team to refine our messaging on social media and develop targeted messaging for these stakeholders.

The Intern will have the opportunity to contribute to the team’s ability to engage external stakeholders and help create a meaningful presence on relevant social media platforms. The Intern will also work closely with a highly collaborative and creative team of partnerships experts who are passionate about working toward a more financially inclusive and interconnected world. This internship will provide knowledge and experience within a well-established and globally recognized nonprofit, with an innovative business model, and is an organization at the forefront of innovative financial services for underserved populations.
