About the Job

As the Facilities Assistant, you will work alongside team members who specialize in facility functions, including space management, property strategy, contract management, renovations, and office moves. Responsibilities

As a Facilities Assistant, your job functions will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Developing vendor relationships and coordinating vendor services
  • Providing help desk support (Teams phones, mobile devices, at-home office)
  • Managing mobile device accounts, orders, and inventory
  • Leading employee onboarding/offboarding and systems updates
  • Supporting Facilities Management System software updates with Facilities Team
  • Managing office-specific labor law poster subscriptions
  • Supporting Facilities team with various administrative functions

Qualifications

Candidates should hold an associate degree or be pursuing an undergraduate degree.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 0-2 years related work experience
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • Equally at ease working independently and as part of a team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with current MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A desire to grow both intellectually and professionally
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers

Annual Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000

An employee’s total compensation package includes annual salary, company-subsidized (employee and family) medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) participation with a company-match of 1% to 4% of annual compensation, company-paid life and short- and long-term disability, paid sick leave (80 hours per year), paid vacation (10 days), paid holidays (9 days per year), and the potential for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance. Paid time off will be pro-rated to reflect part-time scheduled hours, if applicable.
