**ABOUT THE ROLE
**
The team at 3Degrees is passionate about helping organizations around the world rise to the challenge of taking urgent action on climate change. As a company, we are constantly striving to innovate new solutions and ideas and not afraid to stretch the boundaries into new areas that may result in better outcomes for our customers and our planet. In collaboration with the manager, the Executive Operations Assistant role will primarily support three senior executives. These executives maintain an active schedule supporting client engagements, utility partner relationships, and the 3Degrees team.
_This position will be based out of San Francisco, CA, and is a hybrid role with expectations to be in the office ~2 days per week as required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- Manage details of a highly confidential and critical nature, which requires in-depth knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures
- Filtering, prioritizing, and drafting emails, personal correspondence, presentations, memos, and other tasks that facilitates the Executives’ ability to effectively lead the business
- Plan travel and manage expense reports that are complex and detailed
- Extensively manage a highly complex calendar schedule
- Act as the point of contact as required to support clients, staff, and other external partners
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
- Synthesize complex information into detailed project plans
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality in relationships with all executive level staff
- Identify challenges and work on solving problems of diverse scope requiring analysis of data and judgment for multiple divisions
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and deal with deadline pressure and develop facilitation skills
- Serve as a strategic thought partner, sounding board, and confidante to senior executives and other teammates
- Inform organization strategy and decision-making for cross-functional projects (example topics social mission criteria, employer brand strategy, product vs. market focus analysis, engagement surveys)

You are a self-motivated and professional individual who takes a proactive approach to deploying a high level of operational efficiency for the team members you support. You have advanced calendar management and other core functional executive assistant skills. Your communication skills are precise and responsive, can anticipate needs, and demonstrate a willingness to serve. You have an exceptional ability to independently manage your workload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. You possess exceptional organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities. You accomplish all of these goals with the utmost confidentiality and the ability to get your job done with access to highly-sensitive information from the business operations perspective. You are efficient and comfortable supporting key executives to maintain complex schedules and priority projects with internal cross-functional teams and external clients and partners. You display confidence and are a resourceful and self-sufficient problem-solver who can perform a variety of administrative tasks for members of an executive team.

- Advanced G Suite skills, with an ability and desire to learn department-specific applications as required. Knowledge of Slack, Expensify, Confluence, PDF editing & creation software is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to effectively support senior management
- Advanced file management, strong organizational and project management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience communicating on behalf of executives to clients and partners
HOW WE DEFINE SUCCESS
Within 30 days
- Build a working knowledge of 3Degrees business lines, primarily the Energy & Climate Practice, Utility Partnerships, and People Operations
Within 60 days
- Develop a plan and training schedule to become an in-house expert on 3Degrees network structure. This includes G Suite, communication tools, staffing and expense policies, unique file nomenclature for teams you support, regular meetings, and key contacts, and make recommendations for improvements as applicable
Within 90 days
- Become an expert on 3Degrees policies such as employee handbook, expense & travel policies, performance schedules, company, and team meetings/gatherings, and make recommendations to be more effective
Within 6 months
- Develop a functional knowledge of People Operations, Utility Partnerships and Environmental Climate Practice, and Customer Solutions and Innovation divisions
