About the opportunity

As the Employer Brand Specialist (HR Title = Market Content Developer), you will play a key role in bringing our employer brand promise and value proposition to life across a variety of channels and platforms.

You’ll partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Content Marketing, and additional internal stakeholders to develop and deliver communication and marketing strategies to reach qualified candidates and retain current employees.

You have a knack for authentic storytelling and a passion for developing content across a variety of channels (website, social media, email, video, and print materials) to drive action. You’re curious about new platforms and why your efforts performed the way they did. You’re also eager to generate strategic ideas and drive initiatives forward.

This is a full-time, regular (with benefits), salaried position based out of Denver, Colorado.  Highly qualified, remote employees will also be seriously considered.

What you will accomplish

  • Develop and deliver communication and marketing strategies to engage prospective candidates for hire (e.g., raise brand awareness, build interest, increase consideration and intent) and help employees understand how they can advance their careers at SWCA.
  • Assess the candidate and employee journey across LinkedIn, our external website, intranet, and applicant tracking system to benchmark current efforts and track performance improvement.
  • Measure performance and evaluate the need for new strategies, tactics, and channels (e.g., digital advertising and email marketing) to better meet candidates’ and organizational needs.
  • Strengthen the message of SWCA’s culture and core values through specific campaigns, focusing on our flexible workplace model, career progression, employee ownership, diversity and inclusion, and other people-centric programs and initiatives.
  • Inspire current SWCA employees to create and share their stories and employer reviews, amplifying our reach and influence throughout the candidate journey.
  • Develop and customize training, tools, and templates to equip recruiters and hiring managers to tell our story effectively to attract and nurture candidates.
  • Learn and use a variety of talent acquisition platforms, like Comparably, iCIMS, LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team and local offices to develop recruitment marketing materials for recruitment events.
  • Develop communication plans and coordinate campaigns in alignment with other company initiatives and announcements.
  • Keep informed of and apply employer brand and recruitment marketing best practices.

Experience and qualifications for success

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, mass communications, or related field.
  • At least three (5) years of professional experience outside of school required
  • Strong commitment to and passion for incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion into all you do as a communications and talent professional.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills for multiple mediums (applicants will be asked to provide writing samples during the application process).
  • Familiarity with basic principles in AP Style, storytelling, communications, and digital marketing.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Customer service-oriented and able to build strong working relationships with internal clients.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with or ability to learn simple video editing and graphic design applications, such as Animoto and Canva.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

In alignment with this commitment, SWCA posts good faith pay ranges in all its advertised job postings to promote pay equity and transparency.

An employee in this Denver, CO based position can expect a salary of $65,620.00/year to $85,176.00/year.  Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law.  Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
