Job overview at a glance

• The role of Subcontractor engineer/ assessor is to critically assess the majority of structural, fire safety, electrical safety in manufacturing settings across industries.
• Engineers/ Assessor will be expected to critically analyze facility practices against local laws, client codes of conduct, and best practices alone or under supervision of supervisor.
• Expected to meet Key Performance Targets related to report turnaround time, report quality and management KPIs as per the annual goal setting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out existing building assessments (as opposed to audits) to arrive at a judgement-based decision on the overall electrical safety condition of the building. This will require both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Read and understand various styles of electrical load estimates.
• Perform /check DEA (Detail Engineering Assessment) report, SLD, (Single line diagram), LPS (Lightening protection system) etc.
• Candidate should have adequate knowledge on Country specific & all international related Building code etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a university recognized by the National Engineering Institute or equivalent international professional qualifications.
• Minimum 2-4 years of electrical design experience or experience in carrying out assessments of existing buildings and be familiar with key electrical safety principles in industrial buildings.
• Shall hold a valid Licence to Practice as an Engineer in the Discipline of Electrical Engineering, issued by the Ministry of Construction.
• Ideally experience of at least three existing building assessments in the last two years
