Education Specialist

OVERVIEW

Join our dynamic Nepal team! We're looking for a motivated, talented teacher to join our team at Kopila Valley School. We are seeking an experienced educator to support and mentor our Nepali teaching team. The length of time on is variable from 3 months to 1 year depending on the area of focus.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help teachers implement the recommendations of our curriculum development team to strengthen program as a whole
• Mentor and support our teachers across multiple subject areas and grade levels (pre-primary to secondary)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Fluency in English
• Teaching experience
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Bachelors Degree or higher qualification in education
• Resiliency when adapting to new environments and the obstacles that may come with that (heat, insects, illness, etc.)

• You require little supervision and are flexible. You understand that you will be wearing many hats in this role, many of which are not explicitly included in this job description
