The Alliance for Decision Education (“the Alliance'') is a non-profit education organization leading the growing call to have decision-making skills, or Decision Education, taught in schools K-12 across the country. Reporting to the Director of Education, the Education Manager supports the implementation of new initiatives that focus on building a national community of teachers who implement Decision Education (“DE”) in their classrooms across the country. This individual will provide program design, management, and educator support for various educational initiatives that seek to incentivize the integration of DE across the existing curriculum and implement new DE instructional initiatives.
The Education Manager has extensive experience developing and managing tech-based programs for teachers and/or students at a multi-school level and has a keen understanding of the complexities of school and district-level instructional decision-making. They are tech-savvy, innovative in their thinking, and have great expertise in supporting teachers who are involved in non-profit programs and opportunities.
We expect this individual to adhere to the Alliance’s hybrid work schedule, working remotely and from our office in Bala Cynwyd, PA. In special circumstances, we will consider full-time remote work for candidates who are not local to our office. Fully remote candidates will be expected to travel into the office occasionally.
