The Role
As the Disaster Risk Reduction & Emergency Response Advisor (DRR & ER), you will be responsible for providing technical policy and program advice in disaster risk management (DRM), climate change adaptation (CCA), and emergency preparation and response to strengthen ChildFund Australia’s programming.
You will be a member of our International Programs Team (IPT), and work in cooperation with our Country Offices, ChildFund Alliance members, and local partners to ensure ChildFund Australia’s DRM programming remains of a high quality and continues to meet the protection and assistance needs of at-risk and affected children.
This is a full-time, 12-month contract role, based in Surry Hills, Sydney.
And, to help our staff maintain a healthy work-life balance, ChildFund Australia encourages discussions about flexible working arrangements (including working-from-home arrangements etc.)
