The Digital Campaigner plays a pivotal role in advancing Ecojustice’s strategic goals by telling the organization’s story and sharing its strategic priorities through a multichannel experience. By creating compelling content and strategic engagement tactics across Ecojustice’s digital channels, they raise awareness, promote campaigns, and educate about our work in order to create a safe and supportive online community that amplifies Ecojustice’s impact in the environmental sector.
About The Role
The Digital Campaigner is responsible for developing and executing digital advocacy and marketing campaigns to support Ecojustice’s mission, including content creation, community management, and strategic communications.
- Develops, implements, and analyses the impact of digital campaigns to reach, engage and mobilize supporters and members of the public to take action (e.g. sign a petition, write to their MP, etc.) in support of Ecojustice’s priorities.
- Collaborates with cross-departmental teams to plan and execute content and campaigns that influence decision-makers and build Ecojustice’s online community.
- Creates impactful visual and written content for Ecojustice channels, including blogs, short videos, infographics, social media posts.
- Builds Ecojustice’s online community through engagement on social media platforms and other online channels, relationship building with community partners and influencers, and enforcing positive community policies.

Typically, we find that people who succeed in this role bring:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, and content creation.
- Track record of planning and executing impactful digital and social media campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience producing marketing assets for social media and digital platforms, including graphic design, video production and copywriting.
- Proficiency using creative software to produce visual assets (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut).
- Proficiency using marketing and communications software (e.g. HubSpot, NewMode, Digimind).
- Strong storytelling skills and the ability to craft compelling calls to action.
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset but not required.
- Experience in Ecojustice’s program areas (Nature, Climate, and Healthy Communities) is also an asset but not required.
