As Data Scientist (m/f/d) you work in the Data Science Team of the INNIO Digital organization on exciting Data Science and Software Development tasks in strong collaboration with other disciplines (i.e. Research Partners, Controls Engineering, Service, Electrical Engineering and System Design, Mechanical Design, Thermodynamics, local IT departments)

Your Responsibilities:
- Develop complex algorithms and analytics from idea generation over development to product release
- Apply advanced methods like machine and deep learning on a huge set of timeseries data combined with multiple data sources and types
- Implement Python applications deployed in INNIO’s own developed cloud-based IoT platform
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, supervise and guide Junior Data Scientists and Interns
- Use of modern software technologies for advanced analysis of sensor and engine data to find patterns and relationships to the condition of components and the engine (i.e. data mining, machine learning)
Your Profile:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics or related areas
- Professional experience in statistical and analytical algorithm design and technologies (Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, SciKit)
- Expertise in implementing Python applications and webservices (Dash, Flask, FastAPI) and experience in consuming REST and GraphQL APIs
- Proficiency in software development and related processes (Agile)
- Competence in machine learning techniques and development of scalable algorithms or analytics
- A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.310,48 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
